Refund & Cancellation Policy

At Slater Collective, we take pride in the quality of our apparel. If you are not entirely satisfied with your purchase, please review our policy below.
1. Cancellations
We understand that plans change. To manage our production and stock effectively, the following rules apply to all order cancellations:

Within 48 Hours: You may cancel your order within 48 hours of payment for a full 100% refund.

After 48 Hours: Cancellations made after the 48-hour window will be subject to a 70% refund of the total purchase price to cover administrative and processing costs.

Once Shipped: Orders cannot be cancelled once they have been dispatched. Please refer to our Returns section below.
2. Returns & Exchanges
In accordance with the South African Consumer Protection Act, you have 7 days from the date of delivery to notify us of a return or exchange.

Conditions: Items must be unworn, unwashed, and in their original packaging with tags attached.

Exchanges: Subject to stock availability. Shipping costs for exchanges due to size/color preference are the responsibility of the customer.
3. Custom Orders
Due to the personalized nature of custom apparel, we maintain a strict policy for these items:

Design Sign-Off: Once a client has reviewed and signed off on a design for manufacture, the order is considered final.

No Returns/Refunds: Because these items are specially designed and manufactured for a specific client, no returns, exchanges, or refunds are possible once production has begun.

Errors: Refunds or replacements for custom orders will only be considered if the physical product deviates significantly from the signed-off design or has a manufacturing defect.
4. Damaged or Defective Items
If you receive a defective item, please notify us within 48 hours of delivery. We will arrange a collection and provide a replacement or full refund at no extra cost.
5. Refunds

Process: Approved refunds will be processed via EFT within 7–10 business days.

Non-Refundable: Items showing signs of wear, washing, or damage caused by the customer cannot be accepted for return.
6. Shipping Costs

General Returns: Shipping costs for "change of mind" returns are non-refundable and are at the customer's expense.

Faulty Goods: Slater Collective covers all shipping fees if the return is due to a manufacturing fault or shipping error.
